St. Peter Lutheran School provides a secure, nurturing environment that elementary school-age children need to explore, experiment, and learn to be positive leaders. Our Christian-based programs strive to instill a life-long love of learning and a quest for knowledge among elementary school students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Our reading program uses phonemic awareness, contextual clues, and develops a rich vocabulary. By 5th grade, we are utilizing strategies both in guided reading groups and whole-class instruction to decode and comprehend various text structures. Using various modes of technology and differentiation, students are able to analyze and share their reflections to connect with the texts and our community.

The goal of our math program is to develop a solid foundation through hands-on experiences and discussion. Students learn to excel in solving problems, engaging ideas, and creating solutions. Our students become active thinkers, makers, and explorers of ideas. They accomplish this through academic skill development, imaginative abstract thinking, organization, and leadership development.

St. Peter is future-focused; start here and lead anywhere! Our fully enriched curriculum with art, music, technology, and social-emotional learning intentionally develops a person to lead with a Christian influence. Elementary students grow in knowledge, confidence, and in a deeper relationship with Christ equipping them to transform the people and communities with which they interact; middle school here we come!

The education has been many steps above what we were getting at public school. I can tell you I’ve never seen him so excited about school EVER.
